Frequently Asked Questions

What is sintered ceramic?

Sintered ceramic can be thought of as nature and technology in collaboration. It is pressed out of natural minerals in high temperatures, making its surface very dense and resistant. It will not absorb water, easily scratch, or fade in the sun like regular tiles, so it is ideal to use as a long-lasting facade.

Sintered ceramic panels are hard to beat, look great, and hold up over time. They are lightweight and durable, resist graffiti and weather, and are available in large sizes that allow a designer to have a lot of freedom. It is a good combination of beauty and functionality.

A sintered ceramic cladding system has a ventilated rainscreen. This simply implies that there is an airflow behind the panels, which helps regulate moisture and temperature. Your building not only appears sleek but also remains better shielded against the elements.

Yes, absolutely. Sintered ceramic facades are designed to resist almost everything: cold winters, hot summers, rain, and even wind. They don’t expand, warp or fade colour, therefore your construction can have a sharp appearance no matter the location.

Not at all, and that is one of their greatest advantages. Sintered ceramic panels are naturally dirt, graffiti, and chemical resistant. On most occasions, you only require soap and water to clean them. It is a time and effort-saving low-maintenance option.

Definitely, the variety of sintered ceramic facades is one of the fun parts of this material. They are available in various finishes, including polished, matte, and textured, and in large formats, enabling bold designs. Whether your project is modern or traditional, you will find options that align with your vision.

A sintered ceramic cladding system can last decades when installed correctly. These panels are not prone to fading, cracking or weakening like other materials are prone to over time. To the majority of architects and building owners, it is a long-term investment that is worth it in terms of durability and appearance.
