On the northern outskirts of Toronto, ON, The Vaughan Civic Centre Library marks a clear departure from traditional architecture. Asserting a dynamic design and multi-functional spaces, the library stands as the embodiment of community connection and creative discovery. Designed by Toronto’s ZAS Architects, it features mostly glass and metal on the outside with a striking canopy featuring Ceramitex® Sintered Ceramic panels. Elemex® is very excited to have been part of the Vaughan Resource Library project. It is nothing like the libraries of the past, this one contains such activities as: a recording studio, a café, a virtual reality station, and a 3D printer. It is certainly a community hub with something for everyone.
To find out more about the library you can check out several published articles on the grand opening and the various activities:
CBC Article
